Musical Theater Voice Lessons in Richmond, VA
Private, in-person musical theater voice lessons in Glen Allen, serving singers across Richmond, Henrico, Short Pump, Hanover, Mechanicsville, and Tuckahoe.
Technique that serves the story
Musical theater asks a lot of a singer. You need a healthy belt, a smooth mix, and enough control to stay on pitch while you act, move, and connect with an audience. Lessons build that foundation step by step, then apply it directly to the songs you want to perform.
Children, teens, and adults are all welcome, whether you are getting ready for your first school show or returning to the stage after years away.
Audition coaching
Walk into the room prepared. Together we choose songs that fit your voice and the show, build clean audition cuts, and rehearse until the acting and the singing work as one. Coaching covers school productions, community theater, college auditions, and beyond.
Richmond offers many ways to get involved in theater, from school musicals in Henrico to youth performing arts programs at SPARC and productions at Virginia Repertory Theatre. Bring the requirements for your next audition or show so we can work on the songs, cuts, and storytelling it calls for.

Learn from a musical theater performer
Ashley has been on stage since age 5. She attended Christopher Newport University for musical theater and has performed with many theater companies, including Virginia Musical Theatre, Ephrata Performing Arts Center, and Zeiders American Dream Theater.
Her training taught her to dig into the meaning of every lyric. She brings that same lyric study into each lesson, so you learn to sing with intention instead of simply hitting the notes.
Pricing and scheduling
Lessons are $28 for 30 minutes or $50 for 60 minutes, and a 10-lesson package is available. Scheduling is flexible, so you can book weekly, biweekly, monthly, or as needed.
